We go to great lengths to provide industry-leading security for our software. That said, your account and data are only as secure as the password you create. That’s why we recommend:
  1. Use a unique password for your Fathom account (i.e. don’t use the same password for any other site).
  2. Use a password management tool, like 1Password.
  3. Enable 2FA (two-factor authentication) on your account as soon as you’ve started a trial.
  4. Not sharing your password with anyone or posting it anywhere on the internet (privately or publicly). Instead, use dashboard sharing if you need to share your dashboard with a colleague or someone else.
We will never email you to ask for your password (no software provider would do this), so assume any emails along those lines are phishing attempts. If you forget or lose your password, you can always reset it. If you no longer have access to your 2FA code, refer to our section on two-factor authentication.
