September 2026 Updates

Alongside our recent event currency and Firewall updates, we’ve been making the dashboard quicker to load and tidying up the little things you use every day.

  • A lighter dashboard: We’ve reduced the amount of data sent with the first page and split up how its JavaScript loads. The support widget now loads when you click the purple question mark, with a spinner while it gets ready.
  • Better site search: We’ve made more improvements to the site picker, especially for accounts with lots of sites. You can search by site name or site ID, and matching text is highlighted so it’s easier to spot the site you’re looking for.
  • A tidier dashboard on your phone: We’ve improved how data-box headings, search controls, pagination and export buttons fit on smaller screens. Site settings are easier to navigate on mobile too.
  • Fixed shared dashboard details: Expanded detail views now work properly on shared dashboards and our demo.
  • Keep your custom date range: Switching to All Sites from the site picker now carries your custom date range with you.
  • API-key copying in Safari: The copy button now works properly in Safari, making it easier to move a key into your integration.
  • Bulk timezone selection: We’ve fixed the timezone selector used to change the reporting timezone across your sites.
  • A bot-blocking switch: You can now enable or disable automatic bot blocking in your site’s settings. It’s enabled by default. If a proxy is causing real visitors to be classified as bots, this gives you a way to include those visits. Disabling it also lets bot traffic into your reports, so get in touch if you’re unsure which setting fits your setup.

We’ve also added a way to manage events by name through the API, which has its own short update.
